I mailed august 12 no status update yet what's the usual wait for a update

I mailed August 10, by first class mail, and got first update this morning.

It took me 7 days to get my first update, which was manufacture pending. 2 days later, it mailed.

From what I have seen on the forum 7-10 days is about the norm.

Took me thirty days and an email to the DPS to get an update.

Mailed mine on Aug 8th, Certified Mail, and received confirmation of receipt in Mail Room as of Aug 11th, but still nothing on website. See below e-mail response to my inquiry (Hi-lighting mine) So what's up in Austin?

Once documents are received by the department, they undergo processing before being entered into the system for the applicant to track. Please allow more time for your record to reflect the receipt of documentation. Right now, it takes 2-3 weeks before we can see a status of your application materials. Finally got a update i was scared that the update would never post online. pending BG Aug/23

It's the government. A new update every 2-3 weeks is great.
