Question, Specs is a liqueur store. Can one carry there? I have not seen 51% in the window.

51% means ON premises consumption. Yes, it is legal to carry in Specs. The ones I've been to are not posted 30.06.

The one in Selma has the usual "unlicensed" blue TABC sign. You are good to go!

Thank you, was just cautious around alcohol. I guess no more free samples at Specs for me.

Shouldn't drink at all when you're carrying, IMO.

Just out of curiosity, how long did you plan to be in the store?

Until selection is made and purchase is completed...

I can't get out of Specs in under an hour and for less than $200!
I wish we had them in the DFW area. It's always a must do stop for Houston trips.

Really? A whole hour? I would have to admit I have a problem if I had to spend that much time there...

Not hard to so. I am not a big drinker but do like the bottles some of the makers come up with, very unique. I used to collect the bottles when I had a wet bar in my last home. shelves of all kinds of weird bottles.

I don't think people with drinking problems spend a lot of time looking at the labels or the shape of the containers.

I've been. I can spend an hour just looking at all the unique food, cigars, ect.
...and for the record, I don't have a problem. Matter of fact, I rarely drink at all. (except on New Years).

It truly is. I never knew so many different types of rums existed.
Oh and Specs is a full service liquor store, they don't just carry dessert liquers.
