And I thought the jitters had faded...

Had my CHL since...January I think? Anywho, all the jitters about carrying had faded, or so I thought! I've carried on campus before (NOT in a building. I know what the law says an I've confirmed my ability to carry OUTSIDE buildings on campus with the police chief) but never on a school day. Today I was on campus during prime pedestrian rush hour to buy a shirt outside. I got the jitters standing there amongst thousands of students and making sure my dang shirt didn't blow with the wind! I'm sure I looked more awkward than if I had just left it alone. I also got asked if I was about to blow up when my pager did it's station identification morse code, lol.

Never on a school day?
Do you mean you don't carry on school days because you will be in the buildings?
or
Do you mean even if you do not go in a building you are not allowed to carry on a school day? (Is this what the Chief said?)

Either I didn't carry on school days because I had class and therefore couldn't, or, as a recent graduate, I'm just rarely on campus anymore period.

You will get over the so called jitters.
Most folks are pretty well so oblivious to what is going on around them and even if they caught a quick glimpse of a firearm, there is a chance they would likely write it off as something else or think cop.
Just my two cents.
