Today-church-gun-lady needed help

I usually carry 3 or 4 (up to 7 guns) to church, because some Deacons are lazy about carrying.

Today I got the opportunity to make a point.

(We have lunch/dinner on the grounds after church)

During lunch, the retired Police Officer (1911 collector who carried a Glock 45 on duty) informed me of a gun show next weekend, and a deacon said "I found one you'll want, an AMT backup .380 Stainless single action, not the double. ... I said like the one in my front pocket? I said you should pocket carry that. (These two are bad about not carrying)

Right after lunch one lady looked a bit panicky and asked me to help her. I figured her picnic basket was too heavy and so I offered to carry it to her car, and she said yes please, and then said "did the skunk go away?" ... one of the other deacons said "yeah, he's the only one packin' today, we're not armed, he'll help you"

(There's been a lot of rabid skunks lately around here, and with the drought more animals come around)

Anyway, I told that deacon to keep his AMT and wear it in the front pocket like I do and asked both men why they were unarmed, pointing the finicky finger of shame at them ... I said look guys, I traveled light today, 6 rounds of .380 in the front pocket, (which you should have had too) and 21 rounds of 9mm on my hip and only 2 spare 20 round mags for it. What would have happened if I needed you guys' to help out?

The one who told me about his new 380 who I asked why he wasn't wearing it (again), said "I have a 9mm in the car" and I told him "I have a shotgun at home, but that doesn't get rid of a skunk between me and a car does it?"

The retired LEO replied, "how bad a shot are you that you need all that for one skunk and would still need our help?" :smilelol5: "rlol":

These guys are a couple of my best friends, I'm still laughing.

lol one primary and backup for me

A Taurus PT92 to toss to the 1911 collector/Retired LEO+CHL and a .380 OR a PT-709 (in the same Wilderness Safepacker-for his lady friend/also a CHL) and another to toss to the unarmed deacon CHL behind me

So that's 5
