Well good in a way, but she would be such a nice lightening rod. The media would climb all over her and let the other candidates alone for a while and let them gain steam.

 :chldancing So glad she is not running, she is a few apples short of a bushel and honestly if it came down to Obama and Palin I would vote Obama.

I'm glad she's not running...I don't HATE her in the least and indeed, I voted for Mr. McCain and her in 2008, but I really don't want to see her as President. She has some good ideas, but the media and Hollyweird have permanently skewed the image of her to a large portion of the public (not just the liberals). For instance, she never said that stupid thing about seeing Russia, it was that dingbat from SNL who did...but a LOT of Americans THINK that Palin really said that. For those that know what she is about, she can have a positive effect on the dialogue and continue to be a thorn in the side of the media and the left.

Okay with me. Like Heartland Patriot, I voted for her and McCain in the 2008 farce. I kinda' like what I've heard of, and from, the black dude. You know, the GOP black dude, not the other one.

As I've said many, many times, if the GOP doesn't pull its collective head out and start addressing the people's issues, fears and concerns with a viable platform and candidates, it will be another four years of 'you know who' and his racist socialist minions.

BTW, I ain't no racist or a bigot.

You mean the dude that said states should be able to pass any gun control laws they want, despite Heller and McDonald?

BLITZER: Should states or local governments be allowed to the gun situation . . .
CAIN: Yes
BLITZER: So the answer is yes?
CAIN: Yes. The answer is yes, that should be a state’s decision.

IF his statement was in support of States' Rights over the Federal Government, and he got confused about the primacy of the Constitution's second amendment, I would generally agree with him in supporting States' Rights. If, on the other hand, he was supporting "gun control" on a state-by-state basis, I most certainly disagree with him. It would be nice to have a clearer example of where he stands with respect to the second amendment.

Does anyone know what the gun policy was at Godfather Pizza when he was in charge?

I remember "No gun" signs at the Godfathers pizza locations I went to while I lived in Nebraska for a little bit, there "no gun" carries the weight of law.

As opposed to allowing the fed's to ban all guns, sure Ill take that option.
