Why were they selling 9mm ammo for $21? That seems a little steep for a FMJ round.

I assume they were 100 round boxes.ajwakeboarder wrote:Why were they selling 9mm ammo for $21? That seems a little steep for a FMJ round.
Win.! ... A cigar for the Economics majorC-dub wrote:Demand! A lot of people are choosing .40S&W and that is leaving their shelves faster than .45ACP.
Ok, that makes more sense.glock27 wrote:yes they are 100rd boxes sry
I have actually had an issue with WalMart ammo being inaccurate. Every time i took it to the range i was shooting low. At first i though i was somehow jerking the gun. So i bought some range ammo and shot a magazine of the Walmart ammo vs. the Range ammo. walmart ammo was shooting about 4 inches low at 15yards.hpcatx wrote:Be careful... there have been several other threads recently about WWB 100 round boxes of low quality causing problems... just search the forum. For cheap, range ammo I like Academy's Monarch brand; never had any issues, shoots well, and is remarkably clean for the price.
Great price for 45cal.glock27 wrote:i went to the new walmart in frisco today and they had WWB 9mm 115grfmj for $21, WWB .45 230grfmj for $28, and .40 for $32 165grfmj
why would the .40 cal cost more than the .45s???
That sounds about right for 50rnds.Scott in Houston wrote:I've found WWB .45 ACP for $15.99. That's the best price I've found.
That may just be a reflection of it being a different powder load. A hotter load will often shoot consistently lowerajwakeboarder wrote:I have actually had an issue with WalMart ammo being inaccurate. Every time i took it to the range i was shooting low. I really didn't think there would be that much of a difference.
