This persons choice of words are quite a coincident.

If only someone in the salon had been armed.

How dare you...in California, they believe that the "police will protect you". Unfortunately, again and again, that just does NOT seem to pan out. (No offense to LEOs, but they just can't be everywhere at once...nor should they have to be)
