I went to the range yesterday and tested 70 more rounds. I moved the charge from 2.9 to 3.0-3.2 grains of Power Pistol and this is my new target load. All of the shots were very accurate, no jams, and the recoil was minimum. THe spent primers looked normal and there were no signs of excessive wearing or flashing. Better yet, no significant amount of leading in the barrel!

Lee Liquid Alox although messy is wonderful. I re-lubed some Speer and Hornady 158 gr swchp bullets with it. These bullets are known for excessive leading. I loaded a bunch to +P specs in .38 Special and haven't noticed any leading at all.

I definitely agree. I wear latex gloves and I also make sure that my cast bullets have a good coating of the Alox. I let it dry overnight. Does the trick every time. I have zero leading in my 45ACP and just a little in my 9mm.

I'm pretty sure that the OAL & powder would need to be adjusted per hand gun.
