Checked all the usual sources and can't find anything prohibiting carry in places of worship in OK.
Can anyone confirm or deny?
I'm driving to Oklahoma city tomorrow for a funeral and need to make sure I have my ducks in a row.

Churches are not specifically prohibited in Oklahoma. Just remember any no-guns or gun-buster sign is valid. And, you can't carry a caliber larger than .45.

I go to OK for family occasionally. Keith above is correct. Churches are good to go w/o any sign.
Problem there is being used to 30.06 & having to look so close for "Any Sign" that is a prohibition.
I will add they are a one gun state. Dont carry a BUG.

...I have been hunting down that rumor about only carrying one gun in OK...nothing I can find says that...this source
http://crime.about.com/od/gunlawsbystat ... s_ok_2.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; does say we must be qualified for both revolver and SA if we're going to carry them...

Very good. Have many trips to OK and now that I have the permit I am going to have to watch my step. Had my first woops, stop at the door and see the sign. 51% sign at the sports bar I had lunch at today. It was toughie looking through the dark tinted windows.

We Texans are indeed fortunate to have our 30.06 sign with its specific wording. AFAIK, every other state has no guns allowed, gunbuster, or 'guess' signs that prohibit our entry. After that, I avoid all states that do not recognize and accept our Texas CH License. DADT and concealed is concealed.

Georgia is better. Signs can be ignored unless the place is off limits period.

That would be nice.

Tennesee has a funny "grey area"...a gunbuster is enough to keep you out, but there is semi-specific wording for a written sign...so with a gunbuster, it's a no go, but you can walk right past "no firearms"...go figure.
