History:
I purchased SA 1911 LW Champion Operator from GT Distributors - Austin in mid-May of this year (2011). I can count on one hand how often this SA 1911 actually came out of the vault - definitely a "safe" gun for me.
Reason for Sell:
I carry & enjoy the mouse guns - including Kahr PM9 & P380, and occassionally the Baby Glock 26. This was to be my only 1911 I own, but I cannot justify having her only as a very nice looking show gun. I likely will never carry this one and at this time, it's not practical for me to keep this 45 Auto - when all my other guns (including Carbine) are 9MM or .380. Also, I haven't gotten use to hammer, safety, take-down, etc. of this - definitely not the optimal choice for me. I basically fell to the pressure of owning a 1911 and while it's an awesome gun for many, other weapon types in 9MM are ideal for me.
This SA 1911 setup with holsters should really put the buyer in good spot, with everything needed to get started with comfortable concealed carry. Also, the Lightweight design of this SA 1911 will make a pretty good difference when compared to comparable, steel models.
Location: North Austin area
Transaction Type: FTF Only (no trades - Cash)
SOLD: $875
Price includes all above and pictured below.
