well my chl came faster than expected so with a wedding and honeymoon in 2 weeks, buying a new p238 to carry isnt going to happen this month .....soooo i made a iwb hybrid type holster for my cz p07 . had no intention of carrying this one but why not get started carrying ... after making my $16 holster that i am actually quite impressed with , i took it for a stroll, obviously wally world and the hardware store and corner market .... everything went great, no saggy belt/shorts ( i almost always wear shorts/tshirt ) , felt good after a few shorts hours i was totally comfortable with it and surprised cause i wouldnt consider a p07 compact by any means ..certainly not sub compact . i also wore it around the house in gym shorts perfectly fine even a few practice draws and the holster stayed put
as for the holster ...if your in the houston area these guys had everything for your kydex project http://www.texasknife.com/vcom/about_us.php" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
spent about 34 dollar total with enought material for 2 holster ...or 1 and some screw ups ....
all in all , the project was a success and im now carrying a 16 round 9mm with no problemo ....even though im gonna buy that sig still !

Nice! Good to be able to take on a project like that.

One question, though...who has more clothes, you or your wife-to-be?

I keep intending to make my own holster... Ugh.

As far as the closet, I know the feeling. I have 1 wall, and it is COMPLETELY FULL. My wife has the other 3 walls, and they are packed more than mine. She actually has an entire wall dedicated to shoes. We need to build a second closet.

First picture, looks like you need to think about getting a real gun belt. Helps a lot with the sag.

If someone has never worn a true gun belt, they cannot imagine what a difference it makes when carrying.

funny you mentioned that , this is actually the most awful belt i have( but i like the buckle) , i am in the market for a real belt now ... looking at a ares ranger belt or wilderness , but for the meantime i traded the p07 for a sig p238 ;-) so the belt isnt as important now as it was yesterday but still on the to do list . i wore sweatpants to the gym today with no prob .
does anyone know of a decent priced leather gun belt thats is plain , no weave or design , by decent i mean under $50 or maybe even a reversible black /brown so i dont have to buy 2 ...

I have one in gator finish. It is sure stiff!! I have been using a regular black 1 1/2 inch belt and really do not see that much difference if at all.
In fact, putting the kydex backed belt on using a pancake holster is more difficult. The belt is very stiff. Anyhow, it is worth the money,
I am glad I got it.
