Found the ad in the CHL class forum...
Has anyone taken the class there? I'm curious to know what your experience was. I looked on their site but there wasn't much info regarding the class, what it covers, includes and what isn't. I know I can call them...I'll do that tomorrow, but I also wanted to get opinions of those who've taken the course there.
I'm interested in this one as the class fee is being donated to Toys for Tots. Thanks.

I am instructing the course at BPS in Garland. Until your post here...I didnt realize that I did not have a class description on the website. Thanks for pointing that out. Ill update the site.
The course covers all of the required topics:
Safe storage and handling of firearms
CHL Law - Where you can and can't carry, Penal Code 46.02 / 30.06
Handgun Use: Basic Marksmanship, Ammo choices, Carry Methods etc..
Force and Deadly Force
Non violent dispute resolution
I like to run the course with lots of class participation, and with more time on the range than just the 15 minutes it takes for one person to qual. Feel free to give me a call anytime should you have any questions...It's late and I am sure you are tired of reading this post by now...lol

Forum member RottenApple, who also happens to be my son, took his CHL class from HotLeadSolutions and has had nothing but good things to say about the class or the facility.
He kinda liked the instructor, too.

HotLeadSolutions was the instructor for my renewal class. He gets a

from me. Lake Ray Hubbard is immediately visible upon entering The Garland BassPro. Quite an appealing venue for classes IMHO.
