Alcohol in CHL Class

What I first thought was a rediculous question has turned into a viable inquiry, after a little research.
I have a handful of folks that want to do a private CHL class at one of their homes. Two day schedule... class on Saturday and range Sunday. The questions was asked if they could BBQ and have a beer or two during the classroom time, since there would be no pistol handling until the next day. I quickly said no, figuring that there's got to be some state law/rule preventing it. Not only that, I'd rather not have alcohol anywhere associated with one of my classes. They understood and turns out their question was more tongue in cheak than anything else.
While sitting around today, I decided to research it a little bit. I was shocked to not see anything at all in writing to prevent it. Nothing in the CHL-16 booklet, the handout that i got in my instructor course, or in the administrative rules on the state website. The only reference that I found specifically refered to instructor students with no other mention about CHL license students. Thinking back to my instructor class two years ago, nothing was said in there either. Nor was anything said about it in my wife's class earlier this year. Now surely there's got to be something written somewhere that prevents it. Anybody know where it's written?
I don't want opinion... I already have one of those. I'm looking for black and white, written guidance from the state.
If it's not written, I think it well should be.
