The problem with Great Britain and their war on firearms ownership is that, being a leftist society, they have very little respect for the individual. That general lack of respect extends to not caring if an individual can properly defend their life or the life of a loved one, much less their property (zero lack of respect for the average person's property there). The government has an almost hysterical fear that some individual may make an example by fighting back (people there have been prosecuted and jailed for doing so) against criminals. They want EVERYONE (except a handful of very "special" people) to be completely dependent on the government for their daily lives. Now doesn't that sound like a certain political party in this nation?
