Just curious if anyone can recommend good holsters for the G27? IWB and OWB. I bought a cheap Blackhawk neoprene iwb and it's ok. Looking for other options. Thanks!

Crossbreed SuperTuck IWB option
Tucker Gun Leather Compact PancakeOWB option
I have both of these for my Glock 26 and couldn't be happier! Good Luck.

Why no kydex? Especially for IWB kydex is an advantage because it keeps its shape better, enabling easier one-handed reholstering.

Are you worried about scratching your finish? It's a Glock, silly :biggrinjester:

But seriously, plenty of good leather options too (but usually a bit pricier for good ones).

Tucker Gunleather
Milt Sparks VMII is considered by many to be the finest IWB leather holster made (and is priced accordingly). There are some cheaper Milt Sparks imitators out there too (I think either Galco or Bianchi makes a similar design that sells about half the price)

I don't own one of his holsters yet but I have been following him on Facebook and his business seems to be booming so he must be doing something right. I will be ordering from him as soon as I get my next pistol.

I just don't see how the kydex could be that comfortable! Hard plastic you know?

I have used an MTAC Minotaur for a while now and it's pretty good. The entire holster is not kydex. The part against my skin or shirt is leather.

THIS

I'd highly recommend a "hybrid" kydex-leather holster for your stated needs. Comp-Tac MTAC Minotaur, Crossbreed Supertuck, Tucker The Answer, Old Faithful holsters, Durham Concealment Systems, Galco King Tuck ... there are a number of these types of holsters available. Also not that difficult to make one yourself with a few homemade tools and easy-to-learn skills. And some forum members make and sell these types of holsters too.

I carry all three sizes of Glocks in this type holster - the baby Glocks (26, 27) just disappear in these holsters and can easily be worn all day very comfortably.

Before I started using this type, I used a Galco Royal Guard/Summer Comfort (similar to a Milt Sparks Summer Special) to carry a Glock 23 for about 10 years. The hybrid holster design was a revelation in comfort compared to the all-leather holster, which was comfortable enough until I started packing on extra pounds around the middle.

That sparks ex looks like the way to go for me. Do you have any experience with it? Looks like it may slide around a bit with having only one belt loop snap. ??
