What do you think about it? I am still not sure if I like it or not.
The material is called AVS Advanced Vinyl Substrate. Has impact and wearability characteristics similar to Kydex.
Please excuse the "goof" on the leather backing...This is the prototype and not a finished product.

I am thinking about constructing an OTB holster entirley out of this material.
As far as the IWB holster goes, I dont care for the way it looks. It functions the same, but I want to figure out a design that looks better.

Or I could have meant On The Belt (isnt that what you call a holster that goes on the belt?)

I don't know about y'all but my IWB and OWB holsters go "on the belt".

I guess it could also mean that. I just haven't heard or seen it used for that before.

IWB this makes no difference because nobody should see it anyway. OWB or OTB (outside the belt) I would prefer black over clear. In an accidental reveal, others would be less likely to notice the gun when it is hidden behind a big black irregular shape.

Reminds me of those clear lucite high-heel shoes.
The things inside are nice, but the overall look is
I'll refrain from posting a picture for comparison.
