Is there any benefit to joining this organization? I see several instructors who are members.

As you can see from their acronym, it started as Texas Concealed Handgun Instructors Assoc.

Later they began accepting non-instructors.

No benefits that I know of.

I didnt join when they contacted me several times. I get the same benefits as above. aaaahhh xcept the shirt.

We joined when we first became instructors, but dropped it after the bill came for the 2nd year renewal.

We thought it would be a group of instructors who would mentor us through our "getting started" questions. We were wrong.

We get more info here, for free, than we ever got from the TCHIA

Thanks... from looking, it appeared to just be a group that is making someone some money. Wanting to make sure I wasn't missing something there!
