They either took the article down, or CBS's "mobile" website really is that bad.

BATF is headed up by Eric Holder who is headed up by the current POTUS. Need I say more?
They are all self-serving liars and philestines with a sprinkling of sodomites, IMO.

The only surprise is that CBS is reporting it.

I know this is just saying what we all knew already....
But they're finally being forced to report it in the MSM.
Your average, non gun person is going to finally have to read it, and hopefully think about it. "Hey, the govt sent guns to mexico and got people killed, just so they could say 'guns are bad, mmmkkaay'. Maybe all the things I've heard about guns has been slanted".
Or maybe I"m just an optimistic fool.

The ATF is throwing the involved gun dealers under the bus.

Surprise surprise surprise......saw that one coming from a mile away. These guys need some serious consequences. They obviously think that they can ride roughshod over the US constitution and US citizens combined with no one to hold them accountable. I am not a lawyer but I gotta say the sounds pretty close to murder charges or at minimum reckless disregard for human life.

Who is watching these guys? Don't they have some sort of inspector general or internal affairs? I'd bet F&F isn't the first time something this egregious has happened.
Also, I can't wait to see all the civil suits / settlements coming out of this. Unfortunately, most will have a non-disclosure agreement and we'll never hear the details, but I hope one person really drags DOJ through it.

From quite a few of us who believed that all along to those who just thought the BATFE "messed up".....TOLD YOU SO!
(Sorry, simply couldn't resist. Incompetency can be excused sometimes if there is an admission of it, and methods put into place to improve competency. But these guys aren't simply incompetent. Many of the very laws they "enforce" are trivial and restrictive to law-abiding citizens without an effect on crime...and they will use ANY situation, including fabricating one, to make MORE laws against us. The crime should be in how a firearm is USED, not in how it functions or appears. It doesn't matter if I rob a liquor store and kill the clerk with a single shot TC pistol, or I use a full-auto Uzi...the clerk has still lost his life. And it shouldn't matter if I lawfully and with justification defend myself from a deadly attack using an AR that has a 16.5 inch barrel or a 14.5 inch barrel...I still did what was necessary and justified with the firearm and no more...what difference does the barrel length make? That is the sort of thing that the BATFE WILL put you behind bars for, BTW...)

It works fine on my desktop or laptop, but on my phone (running iOS 5.x, FWIW) CBS's URLs redirect to
http://m.cbs.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;, and I can never find the article I'm looking for from there.

It's a shame that conservatives and gun owners don't have eager and determined investigators and reporters (plus newspapers, magazines and TV happy to take up the cause)--like those who brought down Nixon--on this case. There should today be people going to prison and the president impeached or otherwise forced to resign. When compared to Fast and Furious, Watergate and associated activities of "All the King's Men" seem like little more than fraternity pranks. Instead, the extreme left continues in its mission of converting the United States of America into USSR 2.0.
