Sig 239 question

I recently purchased a Sig 239 and have decided to put rubber Hogue grips on it. I do not need the Hogue grips
the factory plastic grips fit me well. I have had Hogue grips before and like the feel they give.
My question is this, do I need to get the screws for the grips or will the factory screws work for the
Hogues?
Thanks in advance,
Chuck

Mine came with the wood grips and I used the factory screws when I changed. The wood ones sure look nice but I prefer the rubber for a good hold.

the factory screws will work just fine, and you wont be disapointed with the change

Thanks for your replay!! I got so excited that I called BassPro and told them to ship it 2 Day Fed-EX
Actually I have put Hogues on some other guns and I like the way they feel. I was a liitle aprehensive about the Sig-239
because the gun feels fine for me now and I am afraid of adding a bit more bulk to the gun and making it more
difficult to conceal.
I did order it Fed EX.

I liked the stock grips just fine but made the change myself, no differnece in how hard it is to conceal (not that its hard at all)

I too switched just because I like the feel of the Hogues a bit better than the stock grips. The stock screws will work, but I snagged some hex head screws at the same time I got the grips (old screws were a little rusty).

New gun, new screws I hope.
I like the feel of the Hogues. I put some on my P-89 and a govt. issue 1911 a few years back.

I recommend the hex screws as your first upgrade. Your first range session, you will notice the stock screws will shoot themselves loose. I don't have that issue with the hex screws. Enjoy one of the best CCW pistolas around.

I looked them up they are cheap only about $4.50 but so far my factor screws are holding tight.
Thanks for the info.

I just came back from the range. The hogue grips definitely make a difference in shooting that Sig 239.
