I have that same rifle and it is fun. When I was at the range recently another couple next to me was shooting theirs with a scope. They were sighting in the scope and were getting 10 rounds in less than 2 inch groups at 50 yards. I just recently got the very first gun I ever shot, a Winchester .22 pump "gallery gun", from my dad and it still works great. I'm thinking I might also put a scope on the Marlin now.

I bought a new, current model in SS, but still hoped for an older one with the original length magazine.
