Beautiful young lady and a sad story. There can be no final justice for her or her family.

That is a truly tragic story, indeed. I couldn't bring myself to read through the whole thing. And for those who say "Just co-operate and the bad guys will let you go", well this is a perfect example of why that is a load of manure. I really cannot express in words how badly something like this upsets me. I'm only curious as to why the murderer is sitting on life sentences and not on death row...

She looks a lot like one of my cousins.... :(

I lived in NC at the time this happened and also WORKED at UNC Hospitals when this happened. This was so sad not only for the students but for the staff, faculty of UNC and the employees of the hospital too.

Now we know why Lucio blocked campus carry this year. He doesn't want students to have a fighting chance.

I object! These animals don't deserve the injection table. They should be publicly hanged by the neck until dead with full media coverage. Don't look if it offends thee and don't commit the crime if you're not ready to pay for it.

Life is simple when it's reduced down to the lowest common denominator, eh?
