Howdy, hope you all don't mind a neighbor in the waiting room. New Mexico still uses snail mail to send finger prints around the country. Why can't they catch up with the times?

Current trends seem to estimate an 8 to 10 week waiting period, hope it speeds up a bit.

Did you apply for a NM or TX license?

Welcome to the waiting room! Hopefully it speeds up for you, I've noticed that each step takes about a week to update.

A big, warm Texan welcome to the forums! Although I am a transplanted Texan, and grew up in Colorado, I was born in Roswell...10 years after the alien crash. I wonder what the gestation period is for an alien baby...just a thought.

Many of my friends are Roswell escapees. Not sure if they are afraid of aliens or the people that run the town swayed their decision to leave. probably both.

One week down...

Found a nice plastic card waiting for me in my mailbox this morning. :) The long wait is finally over!
