This is another bad idea from New Jersey.
This is just like the "See Something, Say Something" program. It is about control, not policing...

Step 1. Find an "illegal" gun
Step 2. Plant the gun on somebody
Step 3. Call the hotline
Step 4. ???
Step 5. PROFIT!
EDIT: The video text says "up to $1,000 cash"... "up to"??? What are they trying to pull here?

Does it have to be illegal everywhere, or only illegal in NJ? And does it still work if the person in question hasn't even ever set foot in NJ? Because I think some of mine might not be legal there, and for $1k plus the winnings from my lawsuit, I'll cheerfully turn myself in.
