My Turn! Secret Clearance affecting timing?

Hey Everyone!
So like everyone else, waiting anxiously to get my plastic! I know I have a wait in front of me, but fingers crossed it will be on the short side (like everyone else wants! Lol). Had a great instructor here in El Paso that went over my entire package before sending it out to ensure it is good. The only thing I saw in someone else's post is their Top Secret clearance slowed down the process...makes me nervous. My secret clearance is long expired so not to sure how this will impact?? Thoughts??
