Was just curious if anyone knew if you can carry in the reliant stadium? I am going to monster jam this weekend and was in an attempt at looking up the answer online and thought i'd ask here. I dont remember seeing any 30.06 signs posted but that may have changed.

I think this will fall under the professional sporting event title thus making it off limits.

I figured as much but was trying to double check. Apparently there isnt proper signs that are posted. But shouldnt there be some posted or does the fact that its under the "sporting event" make them not have to?

For other reference, Reliant is city owned, so if by chance, you're not going to a professional or school event in the future, it should be legal.
My guess though, is that in that situation, you may have to beat the rap, but not the ride if you were caught.

If you get caught you probably deserve the ride.

Not if it's not a professional event or other event that would make it illegal. Why do you think differently??

Concealed means concealed.

So if you fail to conceal, you "deserve the ride?" That's a little ridiculous. Glad you think government should be so heavy handed as to take you into the station when you haven't broken any law.

Reliant Park Authority has a no weapons policy for all buildings and grounds.

I have a five weapon policy everywhere I go.

That's nice. Too bad it's unenforceable unless it's a sporting event or school event. It's owned by the tax payers.
They are heavy-handed with gun shows too, but I've carried there for many other shows including the auto show.

I also carried when I went with my wife to the Nutcracker Market. I was trying to win points at home. I don't recommend carrying to this event as I was tempted to use it on myself... what a nightmare that is for anyone with a hint of testosterone.

a "no weapons" policy isn't complete without the obligatory Gun Buster signage ;-)
