Lousiana issue Possible trouble

The Lousiana state legislature passed a law recently making
it illegal to pay cash for purchasing used items.
This could cause trouble for gun shows by making cash transactions
that would be otherwise legal illegal. This is obviousley a back
door approach to more useless gun laws.

It would also make it easier for the state to collect
sales tax on used goods

illegal to pay cash for purchasing used items.
Odd, I just checked and all my paper money says "This note is legal tender for all debts, public and private"

Perhaps they mean foreign money.

(Good luck with that, who'd call the cops? The one getting the cash? ... Here Officer, here's all the cash from the sale he paid me ... hold it for evidence and never return that evil illegal legal tender stuff to me ok?

Probably just a way to sting pawn shops ...

I had heard of such a bill but didn't think it passed.
