Monday is MLK Day, a holiday honoring a champion of civil rights who famously said, "a right delayed is a right denied."

The right to vote in Texas has already been denied once, when the primary elections were delayed from March to April. Recently, SCOTUS threatened to further deny our right to vote, by delaying the primary elections in Texas even more.

And the worst part is (drumroll please..............): the Voting Rights Act of 1965, which this mess stems from, was signed into law by Lyndon B. Johnson, a Texan. :mad5
