I know that not everyone checks their state CHL forums first thing in the morning, and so wouldn't necessarily be aware of NYC's behavior, but what is with all these arrests lately? It seems we went from not ever hearing a thing about CHL holders to getting news of another arrest every other day. And always at the same location, too!

Whoa... I don't think he should get time or anything, but wow, did he do ZERO research on whether he could have that weapon? It just seems like he made an ultra-dumb mistake. (As opposed to the traveler who was forced to stay the night in New Jersey, and is now facing prison as well)

Interesting. I wonder if there could be some kind of concentrated effort going on to highlight NY's and NYC's ridiculous gun laws.
