Lost Package?? The feeling is setting in.

Hey All!!!
So in the last 24 hrs I have read about a lot of fellow members getting updates besides me. So that not so excited feeling of a lost package is setting in. Trying to remain positive, but kicking myself for not sending it certified (based on what my instructor said...if its certified it can still get lost) . So I mailed out my package on Jan 7th with still no updates on the site other than "online application completed waiting on documents yada yada yada." Is it still to soon to call and just ask if it made it and it is maybe just in a stack somewhere waiting to be processed? I don't mind waiting, but I would just hate to wait for like a month before calling only to find out the it never made it to Austin.
Thoughts?? :banghead:

I know its tough, but I would wait it out until Monday morning.
When I was watching the site 20 times a day, it seemed that Saturday night/Sunday mornings seemed to be the big updates.
So if you see nothing by then, I would call on Monday (after checking again Monday morning)

Even sending certified, at least you know it delivered, but the site still didn't update for about 14 days for me

I bet it updates this weekend. Mine was recieved 12/8 and they did not update until 12/17. Remember there has been a holiday in that wait time too.

In the FAQs section, they say to not check with them for 30 days. Sure enough, I emailed them at the 30 day mark and got a status update the next morning. If you email or call them before that, you will get some boilerplate reply. Of course, if you call or email them after that point...you will get a boilerplate reply.

If they say not to contact them until 30 days have passed, I think anyone who does should have their application moved to the bottom of the pile. It would be like a big Skinner Box. :biggrinjester:

Checked the site this morning and wouldn't you know it...it updated! Everything is green with the exception of course background check. My biggest fear is over! Not that I look forward to the next long wait, but at least I know its in their hands and my BG is clean. Thanks for all the words of encouragement! :anamatedbanana
