Get down or Get out?

The pop v. soda v. coke thread got me thinking of other things that differ from region to region.

I have a friend who says get down when she is talking about exiting a vehicle. I've always said get out when referring to exiting a vehicle.

So which is it? :bigear:

Out of the car, truck or boat. Off a 4 wheeler.

Get out of a cage.

Get off of a bike, ATV, boat, etc.

Get down out of a tractor. :biggrinjester:

I thought this was going to be about a mall shooting or something "rlol"

Anyway, tell her you don't get down from a truck. You get down from a goose.

Now that I have contributed zero to the conversation, I'm leaving.

MadMonkey seems to share his "horsefeathers"

Get out of here, I say -- for I want my privacy.

A tip of the hat to you, MadMonkey.

I dismount the motorcycle and crawl out of my Miata with racing seats.
