Guys,

I went to the Capitol for the first time since the metal detectors got installed and felt like a foreign dignitary. I loved not having to even pull my keys out. I even saw a picture of this pretty lady in the house chamber.

We need to get her successor, Jimmie Don Aycock out of the building when they finally decide on districts and we can vote out that Republican in name only..
My E-mail and his reply from last Session when John Wooods had people from other States call and pretend they were Texans living in Jimmie Don's district
Dear Mr. Aycock
I just got a mass E-mail that you voted with Diane Patrick to remove the campus carry portion of a bill this morning?

Are you really listening to the 200 Democrats who called you instead of the people who elected you?

I hope you aren't changing parties, but please support campus carry.

I drive down the same roads you do and I have not forgotten Luby's .. I'm surprised you have.

Thank you for emailing our office and expressing your concern. Let us reiterate that this was an extremely hard vote for the Representative. Most of the constituents we heard from were against the amendment. We appreciate you letting us know how you feel and understand where you are coming from. This amendment pertained to college campuses and that is where the Representatives concerns lie. He is a huge supporter of 2nd amendment rights. Thank you!

So, he lives in/near Killeen, where Luby's is where Dr. Hupp watched her parents get murdered along with the 40-or-so others who were shot ... He's a huge supporter of the 2nd Amendment right to go hunting .... but not to protect one's life wherever they may be.

I understand his dilemma ...John Woods, and that Network of Washington DC anti-gun Tweeters (you know which ones I mean) who are rational thinking impaired (trying to say it in a political correct way) faxed, called etc pretending they were from here ... next time I'd suggest an accent test or asking a test question only a Texan could answer. Perhaps a question only SOMEONE from THAT DISTRICT could answer ... "What business is located where Luby's used to be?" ... but I guess they could find that out on Google nowdays anyway.... but something similar

P.S.
... I talked to Dr. Hupp's husband about her running again when I ran into him last year ... not real likely, but she does try to stay "involved".

I believe Dr. Hupp wouldn't have "listened" to Yankee "constituents" in Texas clothing... she'd have "told" them of first-hand experience, instead of "listening" ... that's like trying to eat Chili or Picante sauce made in New York City ... it just don't sit well ... :ack:

Honestly, I'd instruct my staff to ... well .. if I was in office and someone called saying "Don't give them guns on campus" ... My staff's first words would be ... "You're not from Texas, are you?" (I'm still looking for gun giveaways ... )
