I have a crossbreed belt that I have had for almost a year now along with a leather OWB (belt slide) holster and lately it has been creaking every time I move. Any ideas on how to fix it?

My Bianchi does that most of the time. I don't worry much about it. Squeeking is not illegal.

Maybe a good leather conditioner. This will also protect the leather and IMHO they usually make it smell good.

My Crossbreed still squeeks after a year too, and it's very annoying. Luckily no one has asked why I squeek..

NeatsFoot oil. It's available in the shoe department at Wal-Mart, etc.

It is a very, very, very, very bad idea to soften either a gunbelt or a leather holster. :nono:

Yeah, but I don't see as much of an issue with the Crossbreed as it is just the backing and the kydex and clips hold it in position

True, but the OP was talking about a Crossbreed belt and a belt slide type holster.

I kinda like the squeeking. Maybe because it almost covers up the sound of my knees popping.

Had the same issue. Some bees wax in the belt holes on the holster worked for me.
