Edit: Charles inadvertently deleted my original post. No harm, no foul. :tiphat:

My original post disappeared into the bit bucket without the polite but expected PM from a moderator explaining why my post disappeared. I am a moderator on another forum and this is a bit of a breech of protocol. Anyway...

"Let's buy oil from Venezuela and the middle east instead of from our neighbors to the north :o . This is a 12 minute video (at the limit of my attention span), but you really need to watch this well researched video essay. 12 minute video here."

11. Off-topic posts/threads: Since they tend to cause the most problems for other boards, our "off-topic" sub-forum is not an "anything goes" area. Absolutely no discussions of religion, immigration/border security, abortion, race matters, or any other hot-button political issues. (Gun-related political issues can be discussed in other areas.)

It may have been because his original post had a censored curse word in the title.

Does the other board you're a moderator on expect members to at least read the rules when they post? :tiphat:

I can't blame the Canadians for finding another buyer if we don't want it.
