Prosecutors requested a $5,000 bond because Murray was concerned he may return, however the judge lowered it to $1,000.

Why is it that judges don't ever seem to care about the victims' safety? This is just plain creepy, and the possibility of the perp returning to the victim's home is a real one. Shame on the judge for placing the victim in that kind of risk.

You're right, it is five kinds of creepy, and I'd keep the bond higher until they figured out exactly why he thought he owned the house. Perhaps he was being released into the "custody" of a friend or relative and they only had $1000? Dunno...
