Baby Shasta (well, he's not a baby, he's 8 inches taller and outweighs me by 60 pounds or so) took his CHL course today with his girlfriend and my sister.
All did well.

His girlfriend scored a 248 on the shooting portion, outdoors. Outside temp was about 45 at the time. I'm glad she'd be on my side if the worst ever happened.

For all who aren't familiar with "verklempt", IIRC, it's Yiddish for all choked up.
