Someone posted something a couple of days ago, but I can't find it now, that said Congress was getting ready to cut deals, let Holder off, etc. This doesn't look like that to me...see what YOU think.

Holder is lying, they are all lying. That's what politicians do, all politicians.

Issa is from San Diego County, one of the richest men in the Congress, self made from owning the outfit that made and sold Viper Car Alarms and other products. I heard him on the radio this morning, filling in the faithful about the Fast and Furious debacle.

All things being equal, I think I would not like it for him to be after me. He isn't some Lord Fauntleroy politician but has some street cred to him, I think.

This investigation is part of a lengthy dance, each step has to be taken in turn, and the thing played out. The wheels of justice turn slowly, but once they start to turn they can be awfully hard to stop. John Mitchell didn't go to jail for Watergate for several years after 1972, 5 or 6 IIRC. I wouldn't want to be Holder right now.

JAllen, you seem to be a pretty wise man. I know that Congressman Issa doesn't mess around. I believe he's kind of ticked to see what has happened to California and since he can't "save" his home state, he can at least help save this nation. I'll keep my money on him so to speak unless he does something drastic to make me think otherwise.

Excellent news! I wonder if holders going to be willing to take the fall or if we can get someone higher up.

Since he knew about it, it's hard to believe the white house didn't know/help plan it.

I've written both Issa telling him to keep up the good work, and my own congress critters telling them to support Issas investigation.

I only hope justice is carried out when this mess is over.

I sincerely hope you are right and Rep. Issa can bring Holder, his boss and all of the other conspirators to justice. There is need in Washington for honesty. The meeting of the honest politicians will not require a large room, unfortunately.

Honest politicians? "rlol" A broom closet should be large enough. But, the level of corruption in the current administration must be dealt with or the nation is finished.

Even Texas my friend. Our present governor has been around so long he can run it like a slick Chicago mob organization and I wonder if a new governor can undo the damage. Around here, every commission is composed of Perry yes-men, and if you have any doubt, just cross the mob leader and see how long you retain the job.

What would be better is to see the lies and chicanery exposed at all levels up to and including the current POTUS. C'mon Rep. Issa, show us your stuff...please.
