Non-30.06/51% signs

My appologies if you've already discussed or thought about this, but how about another category of sign in the sign type drop-down box. I'm thinking about non-valid attempts to bar concealed firearms, e.g. "no guns allowed," or "ghost-buster" type signs. These would be, of coarse, other that attempts at 30.06-like language.

Not sure what you are referring to, but are you talking about on the
http://www.texas3006.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; site? If so, trying to list places that have any type of sign that is not legally restricting would be onerous and counter-productive IMO.

His website used to have an option if the 30.06 sign was valid or not.

Still does, but we only approve 30.06 'like' invalid signs or 51% signs. No gunbusters, no-guns, etc. generic signs. Too many of those out there and not legally enforcable, so carry away.

I see the same thing at AMC and Cinemark movie theaters. They don't have the 30.06 sign, but have others that say firearms prohibited. Can we not carry when we see those signs?
AMC didn't start posting that sign until after they opened their bar, but I know it doesn't fall under the 51% rule, there is no way.
Any thoughts?

Some AMC's have a 30.06 sign, but is non-compliant. i've seen an "Unlicenced possession..." sign at the Grapevine mills AMC because they serve alcohol. I have not seen any compliant or no-compliant signs at the Cinemark's in my area.
Check texas3006.com for postings.

Every Cinemark theater I've been to does have a "sign" that says no firearms allowed, but those are for the sheeple and bad guys (legally anyways). They are merely amusing to a CHL. I have yet to see any 30.06 sign at any Cinemark theater. And I don't bather going to AMC any more, enforceable signs or not.

At the risk of sounding flippant...we execute what we call the "Leroy Van Dike Protocol"....Just Walk On By....
