Hello all,

I am new to the forum and just took the CHL course offered by Tom Estep. I would highly recommend him to friends/family. The rather long day was enjoyable and very informative. One thing is certain, the man can flat out shoot. :fire

Welcome to the forum. :tiphat:

You took your class from one of the best instructors. And, yes, in a gunfight I would DEFINITELY want Tom on my side.

Unless something has changed recently, Tom does his classes at The Arms Room, in League City.

Yes, Tom can shoot and nothing more embarrassing than getting beat by him one handed to my two handed grip. Tom is a good guy.

Shooting with a one-handed grip is not a handicap for Tom - even if it was his left hand. Maybe, just maybe, if he took off his eyeglasses and wore an eye-patch over his dominant eye I could tie him.

Welcome to the forum! :tiphat:

If I were you, I wouldn't challenge El Gato to a skeet shoot either. He shoots from under his arm and doesn't miss either!!

Tom Estep was the guest instructor at The Arms Room today (Houston area, south) for my renewal course. I am glad I finally got to meet him in person. The instruction was excellent. Tom also gave a shooting demo with some important learning points for us. His marksmanship is absolutely superior. I was stunned at his accuracy. The is a man in the 70+ years old age group. Thank you Tom and thank you to The Arms Room.

Yeah thats always fun to think you blasted through a scenario just to see Tom do it weak handed, two seconds faster and zero points down

When Tom did our class, after all the shooting, he showed us his slow motion drill. I realize that the man can shoot fast, but doing it slow motion his whole clip pretty much went through the same hole. He was scary acurate on that day.

I also thought his class room style was great. I loved the stories, we were prepared for the test, and he made sure we all knew that it was only the begining of the learning. Of course he recommended that we all come to this forum to continue learning.

Agree. Tom's class was great. I took my initial class at the Clear Creek Gun Range and my renewal at The Arm's Room. I should have gone to Tom in the first place and man o man can he shoot. I actually went back awhile after the class and tried his slow motion shooting and it works. I practice it everytime I go out now. The Arms Room has a great gun range, they did an excellent job on it.
