Also, given the great wealth of knowledge on this board, what should I expect to pay for this at the Lone Star Gun Show. I am targeting $409 out the door (with tax, etc.). Is this to lofty of a goal?

For that gun I don't think you will find a better deal locally. I think you will pay more than that at the gun show+tax.

i'd jump all over that deal, were i in the market for another one.

i recently sold mine, with less than 50 down the pipe, for $440 with a holster.

You're right the essentials package doesn't come with the extras. For me it doesn't matter because I am going to use an IWB carry holster and a different mag holder anyways, something less obvious.

Found it for $379.99 at the gun show today. Third row from the entrance big green sign right up front.

I hope you will love that pistol as much as I do mine. It is small, weighs little, and is very accurate for such a short barrel.
First thing, get yourself the Pearce Grip Extenders, and put them on the magazines.
You should be able to get a full grip on it with your pinkie as well. Makes a world of difference.

This isn't for personal defense, this is just for killing squirrels in my densely populated suburban master planned community style neighborhood. I wanted a round that would not penetrate my wood fence or exit my postage stamp property line.
