LoL. Be advised, Kahr's are inferior and "jam," according to recent research by one qualified individual. Details in the video...

I'll have to watch that video. I don't get too lathered up about what some youtube commando says about his guns versus all other guns.

You know what that video was missing? A good, bumping bass track...then he really would have been "keeping it real".... :biggrinjester:

Video is silly but in all honesty I have seen two gun shops that I now know in my area who don't carry Kahrs polymer series because they had so many jamming problems and had to send them back numerous times. They will still order them but they don't recommend them to customers and neither did one of their gunsmiths. Before you get upset this is just what I heard from two gun dealers in my area. Another dealer said the problems was only in the break in period. One of them did whole heartedly recommend the K series models and said they have had no problems with them at all. Supposedly Kahr solved a lot of their problems with the polymers in the last 2 years but I personally know two people who had many problems with there P9s a few years back. I would love a K9!

Because he is cool! :coolgleamA: In all likelihood he took out every cent he owns and put it on the table!

Edit: Just like when you go out to a bar or restaurant and their is always that guy who has to pull $1,000 in hundreds out of his wallet when the waitress picks up the check and says can you break a hundred. Look at me I need attention!

We own three of the polymer framed Kahrs. Two of them (CW9 & CW45) are less than a year old and are perfectly reliable. The third one (PM9) is a 7 year old gun, of which I'm the second owner, and it has been perfect for me.

We also own one Glock. It's a good gun and I like it too.....but I carry my Kahrs more frequently than I do the Glock because they are smaller and lighter than the Glock.

Totally with you TAM. If you don't carry it what is the point. Trust me I am not knocking Kahrs. I would love a K9 but I just can't spring for one right now. I love the grip on the K series.

You know what they say about opinions. My future father in law hates Glocks with a vengeance and doesn't understand why anyone would own one. He is a hard core Browning hi power guy and swears up and down about how great it is. I never hear the end of it!

All Kahr suck until you break them in. Once you brak them in, they are a very nice surprise. They need to be racked 500 times before you even shoot them. After that, I put 200 rounds thru mine w/o any type of failure. One of them would not even rack it was so tight when I bought it. Kahrs are not for noobs. :tiphat:

I own Kahrs, Kimbers, Sigs, HKs, Rugers and Glocks. The SIgs, HKs and Kimbers are cool...but my Glocks are the easiest to shoot and require NO maintenance. Are the Glocks my favorite? No way, but I would trust my life with them before any of the others. A Glock is a war gun, not a show and tell gun. :tiphat:

For the price, the CW 9 and CW 40 series is hard to beat...if you are patient and have the time to break them in. I think I paid 400 a piece for them.
