That guy is almost 90 and still clicking well, and his talk is coherent and funny. Here is a video: http://www.cnn.com/video/?hpt=hp_t1#/vi ... romney.cnn" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I do not know why he was not dressed nicely. He should be in suite not last minute put on your jacket.

I heard him say in an interview he hopes to skydive at least one more time when he turns 90.

When you've been POTUS, you don't really have much left to prove in your retirement. You can dress anyway you want to, and who's going to argue with you about it except your wife? She doesn't seem that bothered by it. :mrgreen:

:iagree: When he was president, purple socks probably would have made headline news. :lol:

You know what? When I'm 88, I plan to wear purple socks, and I don't wanna hear nothing from you people about it.

So there!

The way my memory is going I'll be wearing "only" purple socks at 88.

When I am 88, I am sticking with shorts, wifebeater t-shirt, dark socks, and sandals. Maybe a white belt too when I feel like it.

...most nursing homes have a room to keep your kind in where they won't run off the prospective "guests" when they visit...

Here's a man who was no friend to the second amendment when he was in congress. He was the only one from Texas who voted for Gun Control Act of 1968. He also supported gun control when he ran against Reagan in the primaries.

Eight years later he bought an NRA membership and claimed he had a change of heart. He got support from gun owners and won the election with a nice margin. Within weeks of taking office, his administration banned imports for exactly the type of militia weapons the second amendment protects. Then he made the ban permanent. And he offered to sign the Brady Bill if it was bundled with some things he wanted. When he ran for reelection, the NRA refused to endorse him and middle American gun owners abandoned him. He lost by a large margin.

It doesn't surprise me that a politician like that would support Romney for President.
