Prescription Glasses for under $30 bucks. Seriously..

So I needed a pair of back-up glasses to throw in my go-bag, and a buddy recommended this site. Basically none of their glasses are over $40, shipped... and that is prescription.
Anyway. Typed in my prescription, hit order.. and they came in about 2 weeks. They aren't exactly super high quality like my primary pair... but for $20 shipped, I won't complain because they are a backup pair to throw in the go-bag.

Also, Coastal.com has free glasses for a short period of time (April 18th)
Through April 18th, Coastal.com (aka Coastal Contacts) is offering a free pair of glasses with coupon code BENSFIRSTFREE (new customers only). Excludes some frames; shipping and handling is around $5 to $16. Includes the frame and standard 1.5 index lenses.
Same situation...not the highest quality, but free nonetheless.

I paid $600 for 1 pair, and recently over $800 for a pair with a second pair of "half off" sunglasses ...
Heck, I should order some from these places for when I go fishing, in case they fall in the lake

Ditto. I paid $250 for the Armani frames, and another $99 for the lenses in my current glasses. I needed a pair of 'beaters'

If you have a strong prescription just forget it. I've ordered 3 pairs from them all of them were junk. If you have a severe astigmatism like me (-5.75 cylinder on both eyes) then don't expect a wearable pair of glasses. If you want to give it a shot then at least you aren't wasting a lot of money. I ended up getting my glasses at Sam's Club for a fair price and with good lenses.
Now, that being said, I have a couple friends with weaker prescriptions and they've got enough glasses to wear a different pair every day of the week and it cost them next to nothing by using that website.
