I have been waiting for over 6 weeks since packet was mailed. I have had one update to recieved at 6:10 in the am on a Wendsday. I checked two times per day and noticed that my girlfriends CHL updates allways occured right after 6:00 am to (she recieved hers in 23 days). Has anyone else received updates other than first thing in the morning? Just interested on finding out if it is worth checking the website other than first thing in the a.m. Let me know.

It is just a guess on my part but I am going to go out on a limb and say the updates probably only happen once a day.

I just realized I didn't really answer your question. As to what time of day the updates occur, I have no idea. I would think it is during the overnight hours while we are all asleep.

I noticed that the status changed sometime between 5 am and 6 am or so . I know , it seems weird that I noticed that . I get up way too early in the morning and , well , while I was waiting for my status to change .......... I checked a lot .

I have checked daily for a couple of weeks and I have only noticed changes on the first check, early in the morning.

Honestly is it really going to stop you from checking several times a day? I know it won't stop me.

It is a habit now, I can't help but check multiple times a day. My work productivity has really gone down

Its amazing what I can get done in half a day when I have spent the other half of the day on this forum or on the DPS website watching for status change.

BTW I did get a status change today to "Background under review"
