Somehow I have difficult time picturing the current POTUS just hanging out with our soldiers for three days.

i shared this video with friends not too long ago . its a great video and to me says alot about the man that I always felt TRIED to do right . i agree with the above said .
i also feel bad for the men and women that serve now under a man that doesn't show a fraction of a percent of the genuine gratitude and appreciation that our former commander in chief showed .
Our team needs a new coach that wants to win .
i hope soldiers today know that some average citizens like myself appreciate what they do .

Awesome.
What a guy. He gets much respect from me for getting out there and riding his rear off with those vets.

George and Barbara routinely meet returning soldiers and units returning from deployment, as does Governor Perry.
Along these lines another extraction from an email sent me, is this pic that made me spew coffee as I opened it. I see why the girls liked Bill so much. In his defense, GWB was a cheerleader in college or HS, cannot remember exactly.
If you are one that believes military experience is not a prerquisite to being President I can respect that opinion. But I put that at the very top of my qualification list for being the man that may send my child in harms way. That's why I was sad to see Governor Perry bow out and receive some petty attention. I think Governor Perry has great character. I don't say that about many ex-Democrats.

Stop bashing Pres Obama. I am serious. He was duly elected by Citizens of USA.
You do not like it? Fix the cause of the problem, not the outcome!

Bashing presidents had been a patriotic sport of Americans for 200 years. If you look at the political cartoons of yesteryear we are actually quite polite to our politicians by comparison.

I am going to do everything in my power as one person of the United States to correct this mistake. In my defense, 3.5 years ago I attempted my best as one person to prevent this mistake, lol.

Also, I'm not sure this thread has been a serious Obama-basher. That Obama picture was not photoshopped to my knowledge, so pretty much fair game (could be poor taste to use it, but pretty tame IMHO).

I am sad to say, I can't see our current Commander in Chief even entertaining the idea of doing something like that.
