The wait is about to begin!

I took my CHL class yesterday and my shooting test is tomorrow so I can get the pack in the mail Tuesday!! I am pretty stoked, I even treated myself to a carry gun this weekend!
So just out of curiosity since I am new to all of this... Why does everyone go to Wal Mart for their first Carry??? Is it a super secret requirement?
