Why do some people think that a CHL is a Batman License? Batman never used a handgun to apprehend a criminal. :headscratch

Maybe the term should be "A James Bond license".

James Bond had a license to kill, but since he was using a .380 it took a while
for his targets to expire. :-)

Maybe not to 'apprehend a criminal' but he did use guns.

Unfortunately the Batbelt isn't readily available, so I guess they'll have to make do with this one...

in the original books:

.25 his Beretta 419 or
.32 his Walther PPK

and yes there is a scene in the movie You Only Live Twice, where the BG's are almost unaffected by his point blank shots.

Wikipedia has a very anal examination of the James Bond guns both in print and in the movies.

"On 20 March 1974 an attempt was made to kidnap HRH The Princess Anne. The Walther PPK of the police officer protecting her jammed and was subsequently withdrawn from service."

So James then went to a 9mm Walther P99, but, then back to a Walther PPK in Quantum of Solace.

Interesting, just like Jason Borne, James Bond very often uses the guns he takes from the BG's.

WildBill, I note that part of the image legend says:
"It must be noted that the Caped Crusader is continuously updating and improving the contents of the utility belt, so the accompanying illustration shows merely an average sampling of what it contains."
He's been around for a while. Maybe by now he has updated the belt's contents with a Glock 21? It's big, and it's black, and it shoots things out the front. You'd think Batman would like it.....
