Ok, so I am waiting for my plastic but I have a question on IWB holsters.

I have to wear a tucked in shirt to work so that really eliminates a lot of holsters. My worry is that when you wear an IWB can you do the clips with a tucked in shirt? If not what holster style would you recommend?

In the description it should say "tuckable". If it does, there is a gap between the belt clip and the holster to tuck your shirt into

Tuckable IWB holsters are not hard to find. Some that come to mind and usually get good reviews are the CrossBreed SuperTuck, Comp-Tac M-Tac, Galco King Tuk, Tucker Anser and Texas Heritage and the Kholster (There are others as well). Most of these (except the Texas Heritage) are "Hybrid" holsters, consisting of a leather backing and Kydex front or outside shell. The designs are such that the belt clips are offset from the holster body, spreading the weight of the gun on a larger portion of the belt. Main differences in most of these are the clip dimensions, the clip type (C, J or Velcro) and the material the clips are made of (metal or Kydex usually).

I often wear tucked over an M-Tac without any issues.

If you want "Tuckable" and don't want clips showing on top of the belt much, look at these systems which go "under" the belt ...
J clips/C clips or
V-clips (Velcro clips) and Velcro sewn to the underside of the belt.
Several manufacturers make this system, Crossbreed, Comptac etc.

I love my Crossbreed Supertuck even though I don't intend to use it "tucked." You might want to edit your thread title to get more posts pertaining to your needs.

I use a Comp-Tac Spartan. The C-clips are nice a low profile and the holster is tuckable. I would recommend these to anyone. They are comfortable, adjustable, tuckable, and constructed well.

Yeah I saw the crossbreed commercial last night after I posted this. I did see how on his belt you could see the clips with the crosses. While it is cool looking to me, now that I am looking for it, seeing clips on someone's belt screams Concealed.... I know that there are trade off's and I am aware of it now but I am leaning towards trying the "V" Clips on the White Hat MaxTuck Holster... that will be something to experiment with until I get my plastic. I may have to order the Crossbreed though for the other pistol I will be carrying with the spring metal clips.

Do you have problems with the gun dragging your pants down? I understand that is an issue with velcro clips and that is why the spring metal clips are so popular because they put the weight on the belt and not the pants.

not at all. the V-clips vs the standard clips do not seem to make any difference.
Be sure you have a good kydex reinforced gun belt, or it won't matter what holster you are wearing, they will all drag down your pants.

Be sure to use good velcro, don't cheap out on it, and get the V-clips direct from Crossbreed or Comptac (or whatever holster manufacturer you are using)

The belt with Velcro sewn onto the underside holds the weight since the V-clips attach to it, actually they attach to the belt more securely than metal clips do. (At least CompTac ones do) Metal clips can allow the holster to migrate or slide around some on the belt changing the position slightly. V-clips don't slide on the Velcro. The holster won't migrate. In fact, the first time you try to remove a V-0clip from a belt, you'll probably think, you need to call a friend to help you detach the V-clip from the Velcro, or you might try using both hands and a foot What I mean is, your holster is secured to your belt, more than it is with metal clips.
I have used Comptac belt (with Kydex AND Velcro from the factory) Comptac Vclips ... I might try Crossbreed Vclips just to try them.

At any rate, if your pants fall down, you need to get a better belt.

I know, in the past 2 years, have bought 4 holsters and 3 different gun belts,just trying some vs others.
I now have ... adding up the cost....$450 or so, for 1 gun! (good thing is I can actually use it with several similar style guns .. xd9, glock 19, taurus pt111, XDm, etc)

Hey, when Vera Bradley or Coach start making holsters, my wife can come talk to me; otherwise, she has her thing and I have mine.

It isn't screaming anything to 99.9% of the public. The ability of sheeple to overlook what is right in front of their nose is amazing.

I had years of open carrying full-size handguns like a 5" 1911 and could count on the fingers of one hand the number of times people noticed. Clips on my belt? No one notices. Least of my worries.

I wear ordinary Comp-Tac clips and prefer them to V-clips, C-clips, or J-clips. Holds the weight securely yet still easy to put on and take off.
