Up for sale is my P7. It has a bit of holster wear on the slide and also near the muzzle, but otherwise looks great inside and out. The P7 is arguably the best concealed carry gun out there, about the same size as the PPS, only the grips are larger (which can be switched out to slim grips or custom made) and of course is heavier as the P7 is steel frame. A few other features are polygonal rifled barrel, squeeze cocker (very safe and fast to get into service), 3 dot combat sights, single action trigger, low bore axis (less muzzle flip)...and quite a few more, this pistol was really over-engineered by H&K.

Appreciate the input george, the main thing I've heard not to run is lead ammo for the gas system. I've always shot FMJ or JHP through this guy. It can cycle 115, 124 and 147 gr ammo all fine, but there are also debates as to if 124 grain should be only used. The pistol was designed around 124gr NATO ammo, which has a pressure similar to our 124gr +P ammo. I've shot 147 to see how it cycled as well as 115 to see how the cheapest ammo does. I've never had a single hiccup or mechanical failure of any kind, but for carry ammo I used 124gr gold dots.

Good point about the recoil spring, it's too stout for my wife to pull back. I've heard the squeeze cocker is too hard for small children to operate, not that you would want to rely on that as the only safety measure around children. There have also been reports of a BG grabbing a german police officer's gun, the BG didn't know how to operate the squeeze cocker and was just pulling the trigger. The officer wrestled the gun back from him and ended the situation. Not sure how far this is true, but I can see how it would be, most people that have never seen it before don't think to squeeze the grip. It takes maybe around 15lb of pressure to get it cocked, but only 2-3lb to keep it there...its very easy to use once you know how. You can also squeeze the trigger and cocker independently or at the same time and the first round always goes off, no need to remember which to do first in the heat of battle.
