One week of events that made the news in the UK. A lot of these things sound pretty familiar. How far behind are we?
The rapid descent of Britain into a racial, cultural, economic, moral, educational and societal ruin continues apace.

I couldn't even read it all. I was stationed in England back in the 1990s, leaving just after the Labour Party came to power. I traveled around the country quite a bit. My wife and I went to London and walked through so many different areas and weren't even worried a bit. A couple of buddies and I went on a sort of sightseeing trip/pub crawl there as well; the worst thing that happened was some guy who offered to sell us hash in Central London. We told him we were GIs and he went on his way. I scanned that article and most of it seemed completely out of character for the England I lived in for four years...I don't even know what to say, past my reminisces. :cryin

"homosexuals are being asked to refrain from appearing on the streets in public. Gay-free zone stickers are appearing throughout the borough, but this is not mentioned by the BBC or MSM because in the wonderfully wacky world of Political Correctness, Islam trumps homosexuality."

Is there any hope for us or them?

I had similar experiences in the 90s, though we were told at the time that there were lots of muggings (that rarely turned into murders) and lots of vandalism, especially in places like London, Manchester, Edinburg, and Dublin. When we were in Dublin there was a very heavy police presence and just about every shop door and window was fitted with steel shutters. We were advised to be careful and watch out for muggers.

I was stationed in England 2 years ago, it is a great place for the most part and the people were great, I found their cities to have less trouble than any city in the U.S. I have lived in but they do have their areas that are pretty bad and are best to avoid just as we do here. There politics and where the country is heading is another story and most of the people are as fed up with it as people here are.
