Is anyone participating in the National Take your Daughter to the Range Day? I don't know how wide spread this event will be or how much interest or press it has had.

I actually posted about this a couple months ago. :)
They have participating ranges nationwide, and they've actually had quite a bit of press. I follow them on Facebook and see their updates about new participating ranges, interviews and magazine articles.

Looks like the only official participating range in DFW is Shoot Smart in Fort Worth thus far. I think there are other ranges advertising it, but if they aren't on the list on the website, they haven't gone through the proper channels to get signed up.
